This fall the Adult Education team is offering a nine week program, starting with a two-part study entitled The Fourth Cup, followed by a seven-part study entitled Mysteries of the Rosary - Joyful Mysteries.
In The Fourth Cup, Scott Hahn explains Christ’s Paschal sacrifice on the cross as the fulfillment of the traditional fourth cup used in the celebration of Passover, drawing symbolic parallels to the Last Supper and Christ’s death on Calvary. Through his scholarly insights and important biblical connections, Mass will come alive for you as never before!
In studying the Joyful Mysteries of the Rosary, we recognize that we live in a time of great crisis. So many in our world are tormented with desolation and despair. Yet the Gospel is exploding with joy! Joy is attractive, magnetic, contagious! Our world is desperately in need of a joyful Christian witness. The new evangelization will be marked by Christian joy! To fully appreciate the Joyful Mysteries, we must enter into the longing and waiting of Israel and try to imagine a life without a Savior. Let us grow in anticipation for the coming of Christ.
This 9-week study begins on Thursday, September 12, 2024, which is the first offering of our 6 weekly date/time class options, and concludes on Tuesday, November 19, 2024. No sessions will be held from October 10 to October 16 due to Eucharistic Devotion. Handouts, with discussion questions, will be provided. No books are necessary for this study but a $5 per person donation is requested to help defray cost of the DVDs. Schedule and Costs

- Friday morning at 9:45 AM following Mass (Sacred Heart)
- Sunday evening at 6:30 PM (Sacred Heart)
- Monday morning at 9:45 AM following Mass (Sacred Heart)
- Monday evening at 7:00 PM (Sacred Heart)
- Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 PM (St. George)
Cost: Cost for this study is $5 per person and may be paid for at your first session. Handouts will be provided to each participant.
