Among the Saints who have had the greatest impact on reforming the hierarchy of the Church, Saint Catherine of Siena is a noteworthy member on every list of such important figures.  A Lay-Dominican, Saint Catherine was a Mystic and is a Doctor of the Church.  I strongly recommend taking a few minutes to review the details of her life.
 
No doubt, Saint Catherine of Siena’s influence on the Unity of the Church through respect for the Bishop of Rome is among the most impressive efforts of her legacy… although, her mystical encounters with God are the greatest and most valuable treasures that she gave to the People of God.  From these encounters, many quotes and bits of wisdom continue to guide the clergy and laity alike.  The above quote, short and clear, is a wonderful example of such wisdom.
 
In light of this wisdom, choose your love wisely.
