As we continue to regather as a Parish, in addition to resuming Public Holy Masses, Outdoor Confessions will be offered throughout this week at Saint George Mission Church (775 Forest Hills Road, Mifflinburg).

The days are times are as follows:

•  Tuesday, May 26: Outdoor Confessions will be offered from 2 pm – 4 pm
• Thursday, May 28: Outdoor Confession will be offered from 2 pm – 4 pm
• Saturday, May 30: Outdoor Confession will be offered from 10 am – 12 Noon

 
Below are a few notes and pictures, for those preparing for Outdoor Confessions this Week.  (Also… there is a full document on ‘Regathering as a Parish’  on the Parish Website.)  Obviously, given the impact of weather there will be slight adjustments as needed… and, if it looks like a rain it might be good to grab an umbrella on your way out the door.  Hopefully these pictures will give you an idea of what to expect when you arrive at Saint George Church for Outdoor Confessions.
 
First, as you arrive all are asked to park in the parking lot – it will be ‘walk-up’ Confessions for all, to help keep everyone safe.







At the sidewalk, along the white fence near the statue of Saint Padre Pio, there will be a traffic cone and sign to indicate where a line should form.  A reminder, we want to maintain privacy for the penitent and confessor and proper distances while inline with one another. 






And, as always, take a moment to prepare for this important sacrament of mercy – examine your conscience and review an Act of Contrition.  The priest confessor will be at the Entrance of the Church and there will be a folding chair near to the priest confessor for those who would like to use it..
