Today, with the Universal Church we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima.  The Rosary is foundational to the message given to the shepherd children – Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta – by the ‘Lady’ who appeared at Cova in Fatima.  These children were exhorted to pray the Rosary every day.  So too, we as the Children of God (God who is the Good Shepherd) invited to receive the graces of Fatima through a daily devotion to the Rosary.
 
There are many good resources on Fatima, Catholic News Agency has a good article on Our Lady of Fatima,   the EWTN 100^th Anniversary Website is very helpful, and I would recommend to all taking a moment to explore the Blue Army Website.

As many of you have noted, my blog posts have become irregular in recent days.  I am glad that so many are enjoying them… but, my attention has been consumed with the many decisions associated with reopening the Church, restoring Public Holy Mass in a restricted manner, and other Sacramental guidelines published in recent days and will be implemented in a matter of days.  This is indeed a time of transition, marked with directives and cautions.
 
I hope you take the time to look over the above resources linked above, Our Lady of Fatima continues to protect and guide us in every difficulty as we seek the Kingdom of Heaven.
 
As I conclude, please take seriously the message of Fatima: Pray the Rosary, daily.
